First Breach begins trading on Nasdaq under FBDT ticker

US defence technology company First Breach has begun trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol FBDT.

The listing forms part of the Maryland-based company’s plans to expand its domestic manufacturing capacity for ammunition components, finished ammunition and unmanned aerial systems.

First Breach operates a vertically integrated production facility in Hagerstown, where it manufactures products including brass cups, cartridge cases, projectiles, lead cores, lead wire and completed ammunition. Its customers span the military, law-enforcement, homeland-security and commercial markets.

Jeffrey Low, co-founder and chief executive officer of First Breach, described the Nasdaq listing as “a defining milestone” for the business.

“This listing reflects years of investment in building an American manufacturing platform designed to support critical defence and security markets,” he said.

The company is installing additional manufacturing lines and automated equipment as it seeks to increase production while maintaining its quality standards. It is also developing US-made unmanned systems incorporating robotics, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technology, sensors and precision manufacturing.

First Breach said its growth strategy includes expanding production capacity, developing its drone technology and pursuing strategic partnerships. Its existing partners include Hellbender, a robotics and engineering company that is expected to support its work in drones and automated manufacturing.

The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and manufactures its products at its Hagerstown campus.
