Barrett launches limited America’s 250th Series rifles

Barrett Firearms Manufacturing has announced that its America’s 250th Series rifles are now shipping in limited quantities to distributors across the United States.

The release comprises 500 collectible rifles under the theme “Two .50s for 250,” including 250 twenty-inch Model 82A1 rifles and 250 twenty-inch M107A1 rifles. The series has been developed to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence, combining limited production with commemorative design features.

The 20-inch M107A1 rifles are serialised from FREEDOM001 through FREEDOM250 and feature a custom Cerakote finish incorporating a subdued 1776 American flag design. Both models are presented as complete matching sets, pairing each rifle with a model-specific tomahawk produced by RMJ Tactical.

Each set also includes a serial-number matched commemorative challenge coin and a certificate of authenticity signed by company founder Ronnie Barrett. The full package is housed in a custom Pelican case designed to display the rifle while assembled, alongside a Barrett manual and branded accessories.

In addition to the main production run, two matched sets featuring the serial numbers LIBERTY1776 and FREEDOM1776, and LIBERTY2026 and FREEDOM2026, will be auctioned via GunBroker.com.

The launch also includes a fundraising initiative supporting Disabled American Veterans. From April 15 to July 31, 2026, participants can donate $100 per entry for the chance to win a matched set of commemorative rifles, with the winner scheduled to be announced on August 3.

Bryan James, CEO of Barrett, said the campaign is intended to recognise the anniversary while supporting veterans through the associated fundraising effort.

The America’s 250th Series represents a limited-edition addition to Barrett’s product portfolio, combining collectability with a structured distribution approach through established US dealer networks.
