Blaser Group appoints CEO for U.S. operations

Blaser Group has appointed Josh McBrayer as chief executive officer of its United States operations, strengthening leadership within one of the industry’s most prominent multi-brand portfolios.
The group, which includes Blaser, Mauser, J.P. Sauer & Sohn, John Rigby & Co., Liemke Thermal Optics and Minox Optics, confirmed the appointment on April 28, with McBrayer set to oversee the company’s full brand portfolio across the U.S. market.
McBrayer brings more than a decade of experience within the organisation, including the past four years as director of shotgun sales in the United States. Prior to that, he spent seven years with the group in Germany, where he held roles as brand manager and international sales manager. In those positions, he was responsible for a number of key territories, including Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Benelux, South America and the United States.

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, McBrayer has more than 20 years of experience in business development and major account management. Alongside his commercial background, he is also an active participant in the shooting sector and is set to become incoming president of DSC South Texas.

The appointment reflects Blaser Group’s continued focus on strengthening its presence in the U.S., one of the most significant markets for premium hunting and shooting products, while leveraging internal experience to support long-term growth.
