The U.S. Navy has selected Federal Ammunition as a contract awardee for 7.62x51mm rifle ammunition.

The Fiocchi Group, a manufacturer of small-caliber ammunition, which is majority-owned by the industrial-technology group CSG, has a new CEO. David Štěpán, CSG's Investment Director for Foreign Projects, who temporarily managed the Fiocchi Group in the first year after the acquisition, is being replaced by Paolo Salvato. 

Vista Outdoor Inc. (NYSE: VSTO) announces that its Board of Directors (the “Vista Outdoor Board”), following consultation with its financial and legal advisors, has rejected what it descibes as "the unsolicited proposal" received on November 22, 2023 from Colt CZ Group SE (“Colt CZ”) to combine Colt CZ and Vista Outdoor (the “Colt CZ Proposal”). 

French manufacturer, Verney-Carron, the oldest arms manufacturer in the country and a subsidiary of Cybergun Group, has signed a framework contract with the Ukrainian state-owned company Ukrspecexport for a record amount of €36 million. 

The U.S. Department of Commerce has temporarily suspended the issuing of new export licences. The halt in export licenses will take place for around 90 days.
