Le Chameau has proudly announced the launch of its first global brand campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to encourage people to enjoy an even better experience outdoors as well as highlight the brand’s authentic roots within the countryside community.
David Robinson, Le Chameau’s CEO, commented: “Excellent boots help you achieve excellent moments,” he said, adding: “Customers who know our brand may appreciate the comfort, performance and durability but may not understand how we achieve this. Our uncompromising commitment to materials, design and craftsmanship has resulted in a premium collection of footwear products famous for their comfort and durability.”
The brand campaign was produced in the Vosges mountain region of France, and features some of the iconic and new innovations that have built the reputation of Le Chameau. The campaign also features stories from Excellence Connoisseurs - a mix of sporting professionals, land and wildlife management experts, country life influencers and trend setters, writers and photographers, who all enjoy their country passions. Each Excellence Connoisseur has achieved a personal or professional level of excellence using Le Chameau.
As of August 2017, the campaign will be rolled out globally in core Le Chameau markets: Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, USA and the UK, supported by a significant media investment. The campaign will reach across print, digitally, in-stores and social media through the autumn and into 2018.
Le Chameau was founded in 1927 by Claude Chamot. Le Chameau is French for The Camel, a name inspired when Claude Chamot opened a rubber boot factory in Morocco in 1949.
Today Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers [master bootmakers] still handcraft rubber boots from a factory in Morocco. In addition, Le Chameau have launched an innovative range of waterproof and breathable leather boots which have been developed to offer class leading performance and comfort.
