Anthony ‘Trigger’ Alborough-Tregear has been appointed as managing director of Westley Richards & Co Ltd.
Following the death of Westley Richards’ managing director Simon Clode in December last year, his right-hand man and former director of operations, Anthony ‘Trigger’ Alborough-Tregear, has been appointed as the new MD of the iconic British gun and rifle makers in Birmingham.
This will come as no surprise to anyone who has had any contact with Westley Richards in recent years; Trigger has been an integral part of the business. “I am greatly honoured to have been appointed as the new managing director of Westley Richards, one of the world’s most iconic and prestigious gun and rifle makers,” says Anthony.
“Obviously, the position comes with enormous responsibility and pressure to maintain and uphold the reputation and standards that have been set over the past two centuries; however, I have every confidence that the future of this great company is a bright one.
“We have some tremendously exciting plans in the pipeline, and I am certain that with such a great team we will continue to break new ground, exceed expectations and uphold the Westley Richards legacy of producing the finest guns and rifles that money can buy.”
